Providing high quality educational experiences for children is among our most important missions at Holy Trinity. This includes a dedicated preschool for 3 to 5 year olds, an After-Kindergarten program, as well as a before- and after-school program for elementary school students.

Holy Trinity Nursery School
Holy Trinity Nursery School offers popular preschool programs designed to help young children prepare for success in Kindergarten and beyond. We strive to help our students achieve goals of social, emotional, and academic growth in a nurturing Christian environment. For over 35 years, HTNS has been helping preschoolers thrive in their transition from home to school while making friends and having plenty of fun.
Each of our classes is taught by a teacher degreed in Elementary or Early Childhood Education with help from an adult teacher's aide. Our faculty is experienced, loving, and dedicated to helping their students succeed. Enrollment is open to preschool children aged 3 to 5, and a variety 2-, 3-, and 5-day per week programs is available September through May. Optional Lunch Bunch and Mid-Day Enrichment programs are also available when your child is ready to further expand her or his horizons.�Crossroads also offers families options for early- and late-day programs when needed.
Holy Trinity Nursery School's admits students of any race, color, national origin, ethnic group, or religion. We're members of the Evangelical Lutheran Education Association and the Delaware County Early Childhood Educators Association. Crossroads Before & After School
Holy Trinity has expanded it's childhood enrichment programs to help fill the long-standing shortage of high quality after-school care in the Wallingford-Swarthmore area. Starting in September 2007, a new before- and after-school activity program has been available from 6:30-8:45 AM and 3:00-6:00 PM daily. Students in grades 1-5, as well as morning kindergarten students and children in the Holy Trinity Nursery School, are eligible to attend.
The new program is called Crossroads. Just as Holy Trinity Lutheran Church is at the crossroads of Routes 252 and 320, the program will be a crossroads for students from local elementary schools to gather. Transportation to and from Nether Providence, Wallingford, and Swarthmore-Rutledge Elementary Schools is provided by the school district.
Crossroads is designed to be a personal enrichment experience for children to make new friends and have fun in their off-school hours. It's not tutoring or a highly structured program - the school day is long enough already. In the mornings, a nourishing breakfast is available, along with time for games, crafts, reading, and other activities. In the afternoons, an after-school snack is followed by time for homework help, games, crafts, drama, reading, and other (including outdoor) activities.�Crossroads will be open on school days and selected school holidays, and would open early on days of early school dismissal.
Crossroads has affordable and flexible scheduling options, including the ability to adjust your child's schedule on a monthly basis. This gives families the flexibility they need to adjust to changes in their scheduling and care needs over time.
